Vehicle Preparation
Prepare the car before cleaning.
A few simple preparation steps help protect personal belongings and make the agreed surfaces easier to reach.
Remove valuables and private items
Take out cash, wallets, identification, medication, electronics, work documents, keys that are not required for the vehicle, and other sensitive or valuable items.
Clear loose belongings
Remove bags, clothing, toys, loose accessories, trash, and other items from areas expected to be cleaned.
Identify fragile or damaged components
Point out loose trim, broken vents, cracked controls, damaged screens, torn upholstery, failing coatings, previous paint repair, and any areas that should not be touched.
Describe specific concerns
Share information about spills, stains, pet hair, odors, tree sap, tar, bugs, mineral spotting, or other problem areas so the scope can be discussed before work begins.
